Who Am I?

Who Am I?

I began my journey with chronic illness in 1999. I began the never ending trips to the doctors with the mystery illness and the comments that I looked OK so I must be OK. January 2000 I was at the Mayo Clinic and spent 8 days as an outpatient doing testing day in and day out to leave finally with an answer to why I had been feeling so rotten. Fibromyalgia.
Mystery solved? I had a diagnosis but no clue how a chronic illness which wasn’t life threatening but most definitely life altering would change my life.
I began researching this condition which lead me to the Arthritis Foundation. I began teaching “Living Well with Fibromyalgia Course” them and did so for several years. I became heavily involved with teaching for them for many years and being involved in fundraising as well.
I later became involved with an organization in Colorado named “Partnership to fight Chronic Disease”. I was commissioned by the MS Society to design and teach a living well with MS course in Colorado.
I have studied natural medicine since 2001. I owned and operated two offices in Colorado helping people with chronic illnesses.
Most importantly I know what it’s like to live in pain every day, to feel hopeless, fearful and uncertain. My passion is helping people understand how actually not only live but thrive and dreams can still happen, even with a chronic condition.
Thank you for visiting our site I’m glad you’re here!
